To fully utilise the Group's resources and geographical spread, Brooklyn set up Brooklyn Vehicle Contracts in 1996, to service all of the Group's locations. Based centrally in Redditch, but serving the whole Group, Brooklyn Vehicle Contracts offers a single point of contact for all business needs. We are currently selling in excess of 3,500 vehicles per year to business customers ranging from small local operators to large national fleets.
The Brooklyn Group was founded in 1935 by Mr W T Hill, operating from a wooden garage that he built himself in Radford, near Inkberrow, Worcestershire.
By 1956 the Company had secured the Retail Dealer franchise for Ford, operating from new premises in Inkberrow. In 1974, Ford Motor Company lost its representation in Redditch, Worcestershire and, after negotiations with the manufacturer, Brooklyn achieved Main Dealer status.
Due to the continued expansion of the business a larger development was required and in 1979 purpose built facilities were opened at Battens Drive, Redditch. This site is now the Head Office.
The Company now represents Ford, Citroen, Skoda, Mazda and Toyota marques, operating in the Midlands. Brooklyn offers full Sales and Aftersales facilities including Servicing, Accident Repair, Body Shops and Daily Rental.
